Over the weekend, finance professionals across different markets celebrated earning the Advanced Financial Modeler designation after passing the July AFM examination.

Behind every announcement was a journey of learning, practice, and the decision to build a skill that creates opportunities across finance and accounting.

This Friday, dbrownconsulting will host Financial Modeling: Skills, Roles, and Career Growth, a practical conversation on what that journey can look like.

The session will explore why financial modeling has become a valuable skill for finance and accounting professionals, the roles and career paths that require it, and how it can support technical competence and leadership development.

Attendees will also learn about the practical realities of using financial models at work and receive an overview of the Financial Modeling Institute’s AFM programme, including how it works, what it covers, and how accreditation can support career growth.
